Jose Guzman

Looking for any information on my father-in-law, Jose Guzman. He was a jailer in Raymondville in the mid 1930's. He was married to Maria Gonzalez and they had 3 children, Angie, Raul and Florencio. Maria is buried in a very old, unkept cemetary in Raymondville. She has a daughter by her second husband who still lives in Raymondville, Connie Zamora, owner of Wilson's cleaners. All we know about Jose is that he was tall and had green eyes. He was shot while on duty at the jail (not fatal). He moved to Brownsville sometime after that. We think he is buried in Brownsville but have been unable to find any information on him. He died sometimes in the late 1930's or very early 40's.
