I have husband and wife named William and Mary Petty. They were 75 and 74 yrs of age in the 1920 census living at 1206 Taylor Street in Wichita Falls. They must have died between 1920 and 1930 because they are not found in the 1930 census (although there son is still living in Wichita). I need to learn at least the year Mary Petty died so that I can obtain a death certificate. Is there a death index that can give me this info. or is there cemetery indexes where Mary Petty's death can be found? Can anyone help?
