Linda, Go to the nearest Morman Family History Center and ask if they can get microfilm of marriage records of Wharton County. It only costs $3.25 to rent the film. If you can't get to one, post on the Wharton County Web Site Query board and find a volunteer who will look it up. I need one too in Wharton Co. but earlier 1853 To Wyatt Thomas a Julia Ann Riser and T.J. Walker to Julia Ann Thomas in 1854 but have Fayette co.land records on order and will have to wade through those first.
