Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Karen,

There are two books in the Wharton County Library, Wharton,TX. & the branch in East Bernard, TX. that have information on early families with your surnames Klecka,Lavendusky,Urbish:

The Pictorial History of East Bernard, TX. & A History of Holy Cross Parish, East Bernard, TX. The history of the Holy Cross Catholic Church can be purchased from the East Bernard Church.

I think that at one time there was a Urbish Funeral Home in East Bernard and Klecka's (Bros.) Store.

May e-mail me.
