Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

"Republic of Texas Poll Lists for 1846" compiled by Marion Day Mullins shows a David Craven in San Patricio Co, TX. That's right along a path between Matamoros, Mexico and LA.

The name Hart is a little more common, but there are several also in San Patricio:

Hart, Bridget
Hart, John
Hart, Luke
Hart, Patrick
Hart, Timothy

Some could be Irish, but Bridget and Patrick really sound Irish.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
