Hi,
I am seeking information on the following Dale county Powell family members. They may be found in other counties in Southeast Alabama also such as Barbour,Coffee, etc. I do not know that much about them. I am trying to determine if they fit with my Powell line. I have a great grandmother named Mary Ann Francis Powell (aka M.A.F.) that was born 2 December 1861 and died 26 June 1934. She is in land records with these other Powells that I am listing and I wonder how she fits in. I will list what I know and leave the other as speculation. Hope some Powell researchers can help.

Have land records that lists the following. There could be errors in transcribing as some are hard to read, if there are, I apologize.

1. Abraham Powell
2. Lisha Powell (wife of Abraham)
3. W.A. Powell (looks like WA not sure) who was from Washington County, Texas. Son of Lisha and Abraham.
4.P.D. Powell Also son of Lisha and Abraham.
5. Rachel Emmeline Powell (daughter of Lisha and Abraham).
6. Sarah Caroline Powell (daughter of Lisha and Abraham).
7.Mary Jane Powell (daughter of Lisha and Abraham).
8.B.L. Powell (son of Lisha and Abraham). B. L. Powell's wife was Margaret.
9. M.A.F. Powell (my great grandmother). I think that she might be the daughter of the aboved named B.L. and Margaret Powell. I do not know for sure. She is found in land records with them.

Anyone having information on these people and families please reply and contact me by email. I would like to find out information on how my Mary Ann Francis (great grandmother) fits in. Also would like to find out more about the Powells and exchange information. Thanks for any help.
Glenn Teal
