Hunting Roe family descendents. Joseph William Roe and wife, Sarah Garner sailed to Galveston, Tx. from England in about 1888 bringing their family of 3 girls and one boy, Mary Ann Roe, Selina Roe and Alice Roe and Joseph William Roe, Jr.to Hempstead, Waller County, TX. Alice Roe married a John or Joseph Crowhurst in Hempstead. Selina Roe married a Mr. Ben Brown and Mary Ann Roe married Henry Samuel Holmes of Galveston.After Joseph Roe died , Sarah left their children with her sister, Aunt Betsey Chapman and Uncle Joe Chapman. Sarah remarried and never returned for her children. Would like to find Roe relatives and descendents of this family. IF any still in Waller County area would appreciate that info. How about Chapman's, any Chapman descendents with family info welcome.
