Inmates - 1860 Census Walker Co. Tx.

Can any one tell me how to obtain information on inmates listed on the 1860 census in Walker Co., Tx.? I am searching for information on James(46) and Lydia(43) Stephenson. I believe this is James Stephenson s/o John & Lydia (Allen)Stephenson, married 3 Oct., 1805, that moved to Jefferson Co.,Texas. Their son James(5 Jan 1815, born in East Felician Parish, La.), married Lydia Caroline Lewis ( born 1819 in La.),on 23 Jan 1838, in Terry, Jefferson Co., Republic of Texas. No information found on this couple. Is this the same couple as the ones listed in Walker Co., on 1860 census? Did they have any children? If so, what happened to them? What were their names? Appreciate any information on this line.
