Hi Yvonne,
Actually I'm researching the Hill and Traylor families of both Old and New Waverly, TX. I was looking at a history of early Walker County, TX and one of the sources cited was: "Mrs. J. A. Hill, History of Fisher Families, in possession of Mrs. G. B. Oliphant, Huntsville." I'm just trying to get to the primary sources of some of the data in this History.
Thanks for responing to my question. Any chance you're also researching the Traylor family? I'm descended from Champion Travis Traylor of Perry Co., AL. His daughter, Sarah, married John Hill. They untimately settled in Old Waverly, (Walker and San Jacinto Counties), TX.

Best regards,
Susan
