Can anyone identify the Maurice LINSEY (Morris Lindsey) B. c 1790 SC that lived in the 1850 Walker Co, TX census, next to WH DAVIS & Thomas LUTRELL? Morris' wife was Nancy. He had several children in his home, but we do not know who they are- except one- Margaret HARDY. Morris was guardian of her. She was heir of James HARDY of Lauderdale Co, MS. He was appointed her guardian in AL about 1847. Then he shows up in TX. Then he disappears.

There was a Morris LINDSEY buried in Walker Co, TX- but he was born 1905- I do not know who he was.

Paula in MS
