CABINESS deaths June, 1918, in Walker County
I want more information on the killing of a seven member African American family in Walker County, Texas, on June 1, 1918. The surname was CABINESS. The killings were apparently sparked by a son's resistance to conscription for WW I. The familiy's head was Sarah CABINESS, a widow.
