Hi all,
I am searching for information on Ella Jahn, daughter of Theo Jahn. She married first Alvin Berckenhoff and had two children, Viola and Otto, with him before he died at age 24 on 14 Oct 1927. She then remarried to Bennie Laake and had a son, Gilbert, with him. Gilbert was born in 1933 and died in 1978. I theorize that Ella passed away before 1955 because she was not listed in her sister Bertha's obituary. Bertha married Ed Berckenhoff, a first cousin to Alvin. While Bertha's family lived in Wilson County, Texas, my grandmother's memory tells her that Ella died in Victoria.
Any information is appreciated.
