Am researching Alexander McDow, who was a Captain in the CSA 16th Texas Infantry, Co. I, between 1863-1865. He lived in Fayette County, TX, at one time and was married briefly to Sarah Harriet Thompson (Posey) from Greene County, AL. She died shortly after their marriage.
Alexander McDow died in Victoria County, Texas, on February 5, 1891. I do not know where he is buried, or if he remarried. He was a planter.
Any information or leads would be greatly appreciated.
