Marquis de Lafayette Fulgham

I am a descendant of Marquis de Lafayette Fulgham and need an Obituary, newspaper article, Bible or church record, etc. that lists his father's name for DAR purposes. I have been unable to find anything on my own so I am now reaching out. I have census info, marriage info & Confederate service & pension info. Nothing of which lists his father. Here is the essence of what I have:

Marquis de Lafayette is the son of Edmond Brantley Fulgham and Caroline (unknown surname). And if anyone knows the link with his middle name of Brantley to the Brantley family in VZ Co I would love to hear it!

Marquis de Lafayette Fulgham (also known as Mark or MD)
b. 12 Feb 1836 in Choctaw MS
1850 lived in Cass TX
31 Mar 1861 married Catherine Smith in Cass, TX
served in the Confederacy
d. 17 Feb 1903 in Van Zandt Co TX
buried New Harmony Cemetery, Van Zandt County, Texas

Marquis had several children including my gr grandfather Henry Jackson Fulgham.

Thanks for any help or leads.
Kathy Brantley Brock
