James I don't know if this will help but
I have a long ago relative who died in Van Zandt Co TX in 1953 and his death certificate says he was buried in Sand Flat as well however his and his wife's tombstone a double was located at Morris Chapel Cem outside of Canton

His name is Jessie Lee Wilkerson his name is also engraved by hand on the border of concrete around the grave site.
that is how I learned his middle name was Lee.

I also found a child that was born to them in 1910 in Dallas Co TX
