McPherson and Maxey,Maxcey,Maxcy families in Van Zant Co.

I am trying to confirm the ancestry of Lula(Lulu)Mae Maxcy
and her husband Henry Calvin McPherson. I think her father
is James Matthew Maxcey and her mother Eliza Jane Cochran,
widow of George W. Cochran. I believe his parents were
Allen McPherson and Margaret J.------. Allen and Margaret
were in the 1920census of Van Zant Co., but not in the 1930.
He was 79 and she 67 in 1920, so they probably died by 1930.
Any help would be much appreciated.
