My Great-Grandmother, Mary Ellen Clardy (1867-abt 1930)married three times. 1st husband: William Louis Morrison (1861-1890). They are buried next to each other in Elm Grove Cemetery, Roddy, Van Zandt, Texas. Together they had a son and two daughters. Looking for info on the children: W. Herbert, b. Feb. 1886; Ethel, b. July 1887 and Maude, b. Aug. 1888. They were all born in Van Zandt County, Tx. 2nd husband: John Henderson Murphrey (my line). 3rd husband: Byrum F. Carr. All I know about him could fit into a thimble. My mother always referred to Mary Ellen as "Grandma Carr." Looking for info on Mr. Carr. I found Mary Ellen and Byrum in the 1930 census with Mary Ellen's daughter by Mr. Murphrey,Ruby. Any help anyone can give me is appreciated.
