Next door to Benj. F Pennington are two other male Penningtons. One is:
Thomas Sidney b.March 1850 in Mississippi d.August 21, 1909 in Van Zandt Co. Married to Georgia Ann Samples. The other is:
Lonzo Pennington b. 1859, I have no date of death on him, but in Van Zandt Co. on April 29, 1877 he married E. Caroline Samples.
All thee men - Benj. F. Pennington, Thomas Sidney Pennington and Lonzo Pennington are listed as being born in Miss. with parents being from Alabama.
I'm not sure if Malacia, who married Benj. Pennington is the same woman as his other wife Mary Vashti (maiden name unknown, possible Toles), or if Benj. F. was married twice. But he does have 4 children( Effie-b. 1895, Benjamin F.-b. 1897, Tessie-b.1900, and Robert-b.1902)- some born in or around Van Zandt Co., just none listed on the 1880 census.
I am searching for information on Benj. F., Thomas and Lonzo Pennington being brothers.. maybe cousins? Who their parents were and how they ended up in Van Zandt Texas. I have searched for other records with not much luck other than marriage and some death dates, but can't find anything out of TX on these three men.
