F M MORRIS, blacksmith b. 1830 Ga.
Posted by: Linda Pope (ID *****1525) Date: May 01, 2002 at 21:25:14

FM Morris was born in Georgia around 1830 and married Sarah Tanner in 1853. They had one child in Ga and moved to North Texas and were found in census records in 1870 Wood County TX and 1880 Cooke County Texas. Their children included Elisabeth, William Floyd, Sarah A b. 1858 in TX. Their son, William Floyd moved to Oklahoma. The daughter Elisabeth stayed in Texas. We do not know where Sarah, or her siblings, Frank, Callie, Charles, Molly, and George ended up. I have great pics of these people, but no clue what happened to them after 1880 census in Texas. Help, if you can!!

There is some thought that FM and Sarah might have come to Oklahoma.
