Believe it or not, there was a bit of information I found (where, I don't remember), that shows my John Elliott as a possible son of a William Elliott, in VA. I do not remember if there was a Samuel in the bunch, but as my John was born c. 1790, a brother b. c. 1777 would be possible because that would make your ancestor only 13 years older than mine.

Who knows?

I do not know if my Elliotts came through TN on their way to MO, but of course that is a possibility, too. I have Randols and Holtzclaws in my VA ancestors. Do you?

Thanks for the rest of the information.

Sandra Perry
