Does anyone have any connection to the Ratliff Family in Val Verde County, Texas? Or information about the Hotel that they were to have ran?
William H. Ratliff, Sr. b. 1843 married Sophia S. Aten in 1863 in Sabin Parish, Louisiana. William and wife Sophie were suppose to have ran a hotel in Juno??
Children listed as: William H. Jr. b. 1863, Joseph Ratliff b. 1868 d. 1930 Juno, Val Verde Co., Texas., Mary, George P., Effie, John T., Thomas R. "Tony" b, 1882 and died in Val Verde Co., Texas, Samuel, and Frank Ratliff.
Son Joseph a hotel keeper and a good fiddler.
Would like to find more information on this family. Would be happy to share what we have.
