Thank you, Anita. My grandfather that attended Trio school was named Dewey Worden. He was born in 1897, so he would have attended the school in the 1900's or 1910's. Granddad's siblings that must have attended the school were Elmer, Ray, Bill, Edna, and Leon(Curly). I think that's all of them. Curly was somewhat mentally retarded. The family moved to Sabinal from Whitewright when my grandfather was very young. I do not know what other family members accompanied Alvin and his family to Sabinal. My granddad would refer to an uncle Walter Worden. He may have come to Sabinal also. My ggrandfather, Alvin ran a large bee apiary in the area, I believe. Alvin and his family moved to Nueces Co. in 1910's or 1920's. Are there any Worden's still living in Uvalde Co. to your knowledge?
