I am looking for my great grandmothers grave, she was Grace Mae [white ] Wells. Or any info on her death.
She is said to have died in the great flu epidemic of 1918. Her husband James K. Guy Wells registered for the draft in 1918-1919 in Hardeman County and he and his children are in the 1920 Uvalde Census.
Over the years the family was said to visit Sabinal quite frequently. James never remarried, so it is unbelieveable to me that she is in an unmarked grave, wherever she is.
