William Richmond Nix was a brother to my great grandfather John Nehemiah Nix. I do not believe the Nix's had any Indian blood. I have worked about 30 years on this family.
William's wife was Sarah Knowles. I have a copy of their marrige records, I could not find her ancestry (very frustrating).

Would you please send me who your parents and grandparents are? I don't have them. I do find that Henrietta Nix did
marry james Franklin Walker. You can find both their graves on Find a Grave. I know the cemetery well. (Noonday Cemetery) I don't intend to update my book, but do try to update my database. Many families still live at Walkers Mill in Harrison Co, just across the county line from Upshur Co.
Best Peggy Sutherlin
