Thanks much for resolving the maiden surname problem! I have found the 1880 Census for W. J. Spencer that lists her at 2 years old. The uncertainty now is with her first name. The 1880 census record looks like her initials are I. O. Looking around various family trees, one suggests Lula and you suggest Lura. I don't see much question about her middle name - Oraline - but of course I knew her as Ovie. Have you come across any records that help?
