Looking for info on Rebecca (?Jane) Ray and parents.
Story from her g-daughter says she was born in Longview, Tex. (abt 1853-(census)) Her parents were born in Alabama. Longview was then in Upshur County. Her parents were killed/died?? when she was young and she and brother were adopted by Mullings, Mullens, Mulkins, etc. By 1880(census), she was married to Edward R. Bruce and lived in Marshall, Harrison County, Texas. Brother had a Dairy in Ft.Worth??? Any help would be much appreciated. This is a brick wall.
