I'm hoping someone can help me. I've found a JW "Jim" Aills in Cherokee Co. He was the son of William T. Aills who was the son of Thomas Paine Aills. W.T. Aills was married to Elizabeth McLennan. Their children were Ada W., Charlie Joe, Eliza, Homer, Irmes Walter, Jerry Paul, J.W. "Jim" (must be James), Sam H. and baby girl Mary Jane who died only a few months old.
Would anyone know if J.W. "Bud" Aills, b 10-20-1884 d 10-10-1925, buried in Oak Hill Cemetery could be the J.W. found in Cherokee Co?
The J.W. Aills, b 1808 d 1897, buried in Oak Hill Cemetery is the grandfather of William T. Aills. It seems reasonable that William T. Aills' son would be buried in the same cemetery as William T's grandfather. I would like to have some proof. Can anyone help?
If you have any information on any AILLS please contact me. I'm trying to connect all the AILLS in Upshur, Cherokee, Gregg and other counties together. I'm making progress but need some help. I'll happily share what I know.
Thanks, Sandra Zenger
