I ran out of time last night to work on your other lines, you didn't give much on them.

1920 census Upshur Co, TX:

Dacus, Antone(sic)T., hd, 59, m, b GA, GA, GA
" Ida, w, 53, m, b SC, SC, SC
" Barnie B., s, 16, b TX

Next door:

Dacus, Dwight M., hd, 19, m, b TX, GA, SC
" Thelma, w, 16, m, b TX, TX, TX

Also in the county is Robert A. Dacus 61, b GA, GA, GA

1910 census Upshur Co, TX:

Dacus, T.A.(sic), hd, 50, md 27 yr, b GA, SC, GA
" Ida, w, 49, md 27 yr, 10 ch, 8 lvg, b SC, SC, SC
" Jeffie, s, 26, b SC [probably Jessie]
" Lizzie, d, 25, b SC
" ______, d, 23, b SC
" Minnie, d, 21, b TX
" Willie, s, 18, b TX
" Robert, s, 16, b TX
" May, d, 14, b TX
" Dwight, s, 9, b TX
" Barney, s, 7, b TX

Again, Robert is also in the county

1900 census Upshur Co, TX:

Dacus, Thomas A., hd, b Mar 1860, 40, M 18 yr, b GA, SC, GA
" Ida, w, b jan 1861, 39, M 18 yr, 8 ch, 6 lvg, b SC, SC, SC
" Elizabeth, d, b jan 1886, 14, b SC
" Minnie, d, Feb, 1889, 11, b TX
" William, s, b Jul 1891, 8, b TX
" May, d, b Feb 1896, 4, b TX
" Robert, s, b Jan 1894, 6, b TX
" [blank], s, b May 1892, 2, b TX

I don't see Robert

1880 census Libert, Pickens Co, SC, now you see why I mention Robert:

Category: Name; Relationship to head of household; Marital Status; Gender; Race; Age; Birthplace; Occupation; Father's Birthplace; Mother's Birthplace.

Robert A. DACUS Self M Male W 20 SC Farmer SC SC
Martha D. DACUS Wife M Female W 22 SC House Keeper SC SC
Anthony DACUS Brother S Male W 19 SC Laborer SC SC

I tried doing some searches in 1870 SC census index. I don't find a Dacus family with these two brothers. But, there is a Dacusville in Pickens Co, SC. I would certainly look for probate, land and guardianship records for these boys.

Most of the Dacus families in SC seem to be in Pickens, Greenville and Anderson, which are all located right together. I did just a real quick look at GenWeb sites for those counties. In query from Greenville Co. site I see there is a Dacus family cemetery located on Dacus Road. I think the Dacus family must have been in the area early on. Should make your research easier.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
