Robert A. DACUS Self M Male W 20 SC Farmer SC SC Martha D. DACUS Wife M Female W 22 SC House Keeper SC SC Anthony DACUS Brother S Male W 19 SC Laborer SC SC I tried doing some searches in 1870 SC census index. I don't find a Dacus family with these two brothers. But, there is a Dacusville in Pickens Co, SC. I would certainly look for probate, land and guardianship records for these boys. Most of the Dacus families in SC seem to be in Pickens, Greenville and Anderson, which are all located right together. I did just a real quick look at GenWeb sites for those counties. In query from Greenville Co. site I see there is a Dacus family cemetery located on Dacus Road. I think the Dacus family must have been in the area early on. Should make your research easier.
