John,
Grover Cleveland Sturrock was the son of Scenia Warrington and Hattie May (Hayes) Sturrock. Scenia's parents were John Franklin "Babe" Sturrock and Mary Jane Wilson. Babe is the son of a Scottish pioneer named James Sturrock who came to Texas in 1836 with his siblings. I have LOTS of information on the Sturrock family. We have a book on the Sturrocks called "From Scotland to Texas" that would help you a lot also. I edit the Sturrock Family Newsletter (most of them still live in Tyler County or the surrounding communities), and if you're interested in receiving that, let me know. I hope this helps you. Email me at denbrenodell@pdq.net.
