May I make a suggestion? You didn't include any dates for John. Is he living, or an ancestor? Do you know when or where he was born? Have you found him on a census record? Without dates I'm not sure these are yours, hope I didn't waste my time, but Vanderburg isn't too common and certainly Q. isn't common for a middle initial. Here's hoping this helps you. Have fun.

Go to Rootsweb's WorldConnect site -- http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi -- Type in Vanderburg, John, b 1846 + or - five years, spouse Ida. Someone else is working on this line and has more.
Interesting the submitter shows John (Sr) lived until 1927 and died in MS, but on the 1910 census Ida is listed as a widow. Could it be they were divorced? Years ago women didn't like to be tagged as divorced and would say they were a widow, I've seen it more than once. Anyway, you can share her death record with that submitter who doesn't have name for Ida's mother, it's on her DC.
Happy Hunting (^_^)
