Delmina aka Della Dearmon and husband, Claude Dearmon, purchased a 1/2 acre tract in the L. H. Kerr Survey, on October 05, 1934 from R. W. Hanks and wife. Claude was paying taxes on a 1 acre tract in 1956 to 1960 and I am assuming the 1/2 acre was part of this one acre tract. I have not seen a record of a sale of this 1/2 acre of Claude Dearmon and wife to anyone; however, siblings of Roberta Mitchell sell their interest in this 1/2 acre to her in 1971. Also, sold was a 21.25 acre tract, resurveyed to be a 20.488 acre tract, which was sold by R. W. Hanks to K. C. Mitchell. Therefore, a cloud on the title of the 1/2 tract exists from the Dearmon family to the Rhymes/Mitchell family. Can anyone furnish me information, as to a possbile tax sale or a relationship of some sorts with the Dearmon family?
