Have you found out any more about your Futch ancestors since your posting here more than a year ago? My wife is related to the Futch's (as well as Barnes' & Jackson's) in Tyler County & I'm sure I don't have to tell you -- there are many! It appears most (if not all) the Futch's there descend from Isaac G. Futch & wife, Sarah T. Barnes. I don't find your Eugene Augusta Futch on her material, although she has kept a running list of the children's names in each generation. Isaac was born in 1832 & Sarah in 1839, but don't know where. The entire clan seems to have descended from Onesimus Futch (born 1750) & Ann Dukes (born 1751), both born in Orangeburg District, South Carolina & both died in Bullock Co., Georgia. If you have something to fill in the gaps, perhaps we might assist each other. Hope this gives you some ideas.
