My great grandmother, Mary Franklin Spring (who married Joseph Coulson Seale, daughter of George K. Spring and Oliveia Adelaine Longino) was the granddaughter of Mary Martha Franklin who married William Spring. The Seale, Spring, and Longino families also followed the Womacks, McClendons, Chapmans, and Franklins over to Trinity County. It seems all the Franklin women (all daughters of Henry Franklin and Sarah "Sallie" McGuire) married men who migrated to Trinity County.
Rebecca Jane Franklin married Abram James Womack
Jane Franklin married David Womack, III
Jemima (Mima) Franklin married William McClendon
Frances (Fannie) Franklin married John S. Chapman
Mary Martha Franklin married William Spring
Of all these daughters, only my great, great grandmother, Mary Martha Franklin Spring remained in Louisiana, but her son, George K. Spring migrated there with his family with the Seale family.
My mother, Sally Viola Seale, was a granddaughter of Mary Franklin Spring Seale by her son Wesley Franklin Seale.
Robert Longino, a brother of Olivia Adelaine Longino, was also in Trinity County.
Yes, they seem to be all "cousins" in Trinity County, especially in Centralia.
