These are not my lines. This is all of the information I have. An Amendment to Certificate of Death was found in the Trinity County, Texas records. The deceased was Andrew Jackson Hughes, died Feb. 8, 1918, Pennington, Trinity Co., TX. On the original record the only thing written for his parents were Bryan in the mother's place. This Amendment dated June 29, 1981 is an Notarized Affidavit of Nora Seamans that Reese J. Hughes and Elizabeth T. BRYANT were married on July 5, 1850 in Williamson Co. TX and that they were the parents of Andrew Jackson Hughes. Nora Seamans lived in Chester, Texas at the time at Rt. 1, Box 359 and she was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Hughes.
