Oh, I read in depth about the Ashworth family on a history site, can't remember how to get to it but it was really interesting. From what I remember, some of the Ashworth think they were possibly Indian/Portugese/Caucasian. I have early settlers in Trinity Co, TX also whom I wonder about their ancestry, specifically the Green family who I know is at least part Indian.
