Searching for any information about Thomas W. MOORE, b abt 1803 in GA; came to TX from Clark Co., AR, around 1829, and lived in Matagorda Co., and Washington Co., TX. He m (1) Nancy _____ [one report says she was a BURLESON]; (2) Mathilress YATES, abt 1838. After marrying Mathilress he moved back to AR for a while, later returning to TX, living in Travis Co. and then in Leon Co. in 1860. Thomas was a son of Moses MOORE of Clark County, AR, and was likely a nephew of Nathaniel MOORE who came to TX about 1829 also.
From his first marriage, Thomas had a son, Nathaniel MOORE, b abt 1831 in TX, who m Euceba PUCKETT in 1854. From his second marriage, he had a dau, Marinda MOORE, b 1840 in Clark Co., AR, who m Cyrus PUCKETT in 1867.
