Thanks Myrtle. Our Shannon's were distant cousins, though I'm sure they knew each other.

I have been given information confirming the relationship between the Baines and Shannon families, and found that Pinkie Mobley Baines died near Hutto, Williamson, Texas in 1896. Would like more information if possible. I think I also might have found the death date for Mariah Ellen Payne Shannon, also in Williamson County, but now I can't find that information. Have found nothing for David C. Shannon. I thought he would have been in Austin, but he may well have died in Williamson County. I couldn't use that link either, and would appreciate it if you can do the lookups for me. I would also like a death date for Bell Newman Shannon, though I don't know where she died. My best guess is Cleburne, Johnson, Texas about 1907 to 1909. I know for sure that she died before the 1910 Tarrant County census. If not Johnson County, then it would have probably been Ft. Worth. Thanks for your help.

Pat
