Nettie Page Nowlin, age 100, of Austin passed away Saturday January 6, 1996.

Mrs. Nowlin was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on March 5, 1896. She had lived in Austin since 1922 and was a member of Tarrytown United Methodist Church. Mrs Nowlin retired from the Texas Education Agency in 1964 after 20 years of service.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. F. W. Nowlin on November 16, 1946.

Survivors include friend, Howard Piland, Austin, niece Mrs. Nita Lumpkin, Kingsville, Texas, nephew Colonel Roy Page, God-daughter Kay Wisian, both of San Antonio, Texas and other family members and friends.

Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Tuesday at Austin Memorial Park, Reverend Jim Mayfield will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Terrytown United Methodist Church, 2601 Exposition, Austin, Texas 78703.

Services under the direction of Wilke-Amey-Clay Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress.
