I’m looking for any information regarding the family of Hugh and Nora L. (Chriesman) Richardson. They are found living in Schleicher Co., Texas on the 1910, 20, and 30 Census. Hugh was a rancher and ranched near the town of Christoval in Tom Green county even though he lived in Schleicher. Hugh and Nora were married 26 December 1905 at Nora’s house which was located outside of Sonora, Sutton Co., Texas. This was Nora’s second marriage. She first married P. H. Stringer 21 November 1894 in Runnels Co., Texas and had two children by Stringer. Hugh and Nora had four Children; Mary Belle Richardson, b. abt 1908, Jim Hugh Richardson, b. 24 August 1908, d. August 1972, Sonora, Sutton Co., Texas, Frank b. 31 March 1911, d. April 1979 Colman, Texas, and Annie M. b. abt 1913.
Mary Belle Richardson might have had a son named William Grady Stigler, Jr. b. Schleicher Co., 6 November 1936. She did have a son named (or they called him) Sonny.
Nora L. Chriesman Stringer Richardson was the daughter of Thomas Francis “Frank” Chriesman and Viola Stamps. She was born in 1879 in Runnels Co., Texas and probably died after 1940 in Texas. I have been told that her daughter, Mary Belle took care of her in her old age. Hugh Richardson must have died before Nora did. Nora had a brother, Hiram Wesley Chriesman who was born 3 January 1873 in Burleson Co., Texas. Hiram Wesley Chriesman married Lela Emma Hope Brister 15 August 1892 in Old Runnels, Runnels County, Texas. Any information is welcomed. Thanks! Greg
