Early Records in Titus County
Posted by: Joan Robertson (ID *****4339) Date: June 20, 2009 at 06:08:47

I am searching for records from 1840-1849 time frame. Early settlers and/or Caddo Indian records (if they exist).
We have family stories of William Hutchison "a doctor" was sent to Texas to help Indians in the area.
I have reason to believe that at least on of his 3 known children was born in the area in 1845.
Some have said that William Hutchison married an Indian girl, though I have no proof one way or the other.
Any help with possible early records would be greatly appreciated.
