BETTY
I KNOW ITS BEEN SOME TIME SINCE YOU POSTED THIS MESSAGE, BUT I THOUGHT I WOULD REPLY AND SEE IF YOU STILL CHECK THE PAGE.
I HAVE INFORMATION WHICH SHOWS THAT DANIEL WEBSTER BYNUM WHO MOVED FROM ALABAMA TO TITUS CO. TEXAS BY WAGON TRAIN HAD MARRIED A SARAH LOUISA SLONE (WHO WAS AROUND 16 AT THE TIME.)IN ALABAMA.
SARAH LOUISA SLONE WAS A HALF SISTER TO MY GREAT GRANDFATHER WILLIAM MARCUS PATE (THEY HAD THE SAME MOTHER WHO WAS MARY ISBELL SLONE). AFTER MARY DIED, WILLIAM CAME TO TEXAS AND JOINED THEM IN COOKVILLE AT THE AGE OF 17. HE LATER MARRIED A SUSAN ALICE (ALLIE) BYNUM BORN JAN. 9TH, 1868 IN TITUS CO. TEXAS. I DO NOT KNOW IF SUSAN ALICE (ALLIE) BYNUM IS KIN TO DANIEL WEBSTER BYNUM. PERHAPS YOU CAN FILL IN THE BLANKS.
B. W. PATE
