Trading posts of Titus Co.

Does anyone with an old history have information about trading posts that existed in Titus Co. around 1850? Particularly on Cypress Creek. Trying to find information about Nancy Stovall who married John Zachary Bell before 1858. Recorded deed shows her land to have been along Cypress Creek. Land was either flooded or the land lay in the flood plain as Nancy was removed to Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Her possible sister married John as #2 wife. Daughter's history in Little River Co., AR says her name was Martha Jane Scott.

Nancy is supposed to have had a trading post either at this time, or her family owned one back "in the Carolinas".
