Terry: I was surprised and pleased to hear from you. My grandmother, Sarah (Sally) was he daughter of George W. Snow. She was about twelve when she and her brother were left in the care of a Donnell family and they ended up in Eliasville..named for Elias DeLong. Sally married Henry DeLong. They were my grandparents. I was told some of Elias children moved to Newcastle so I am sure I am related some way to the DeLongs you mentioned. As for Gober, there were no relatives at all here, but that name is fairly common in Texas. If I can find more on George W. Snow I will let you know. Thanks again for your attention.
