Kerr Merchantile Store in Sanderson
Posted by: Ted Kerr Date: April 18, 2001 at 20:25:26

When driving through Terrell County on the way to Alpine a few years ago I noticed a general store: Kerr Merchantile, I think it was called. Turns out I'm very likely kin to the Sanderson Kerrs, and would like to make contact. Anyone familiar with the family? My line is Hugh Kerr-Augustus Thomson Kerr-Monroe Pierce Kerr-William Augustus Kerr-Theodore Arthur Kerr, Sr.-Theodore Arthur Kerr, Jr. I am Theodore Reese Kerr. The Theodore name came from Theodore Low Kerr, a brother of William Augustus.
I have lots of family information to share, and some big holes to fill from the time Monroe and most of the kids moved from Cotulla to west Texas and then Carlsbad, NM. I believe the Kerrs in Sanderson can help.
Thanks, Ted Kerr
