Hello Betty,

Thank you for responding to my request. Jesse Thomas McMillon was my great grandfather and his wife, Nancy Bernice 'Corley' McMillon was my great grandmother. I understand that she is listed in the Registry of the Dewey Cemetery. I have Cousins in Abilene who vow that Jesse Thomas McMillon was buried in Dewey Cemetery. I will just have to get some kind of verification from them. While I would be more than glad to pay the State for it, I do not want to throw money away. And I know that he was born in 1845 in Fayette County, Alabama, I am not sure about his death date. Just what I have been told.. I also know that his father was Asa McMillan, born in North Carolina, in 1811. He had a brother who spelled his name John Amon McMillion.
Again, I want to thank you for the great help that you are always giving others ! !
