Hi Suzanne,
I found Alford's death certificate online at: http://genealogy.az.gov/azdeath/074/10741478.pdf
and it gives the name as "Van," although it does have the first name incorrectly as "Alfred." One son was named Alford Van, Jr. according to family records.

I was never able to find the full name for F. A. either. Making a wild guess, I would say that his first name might be Fred, named for Talitha Belle's father Fred Brookreson, a common name among the descendants.

Do you have any information about Talitha Belle? I am trying to write a little story about each of the Brookreson children and since Belle moved to Arizona I don't have much on her. Do you have obituaries for either Alford or Belle?
Dorothy
