The only Browns I found in "Potosi the First One Hundred Years" were , Ike Brown, J.A. Brown and Mrs. J.A. Brown. In the book " A History of Rural Taylor County" were C.L. Brown, Dee Brown, George S. Brown, Jno. C. Brown, Mary Brown, W.B. Brown and Willie Samuel Brown. The only Brooks in the same Taylor county book are Janie and Laura Brooks.
I can't find anything about Buzzards Roost cemetery but will ask my great aunt next week while I'm in Texas. We will be out looking at cemeteries a few days while I'm there. I'm from Clyde and will be there visiting my parents and will try to go to the cemetery if it is not too hot and look around for you if you want. The only Browns I knew in Clyde were C. L. Brown and wife and his family, Carl, Randy and Rhonda.
Sorry,
Deborah
