Anyone researching these families?
Stephen Andrew BRIGGS b. 1853 AR, d. 1935 CA; married in 1837 AR Elizabeth Jane SMITH b. 1861 MO, d. 1925. I believe they are both buried in Abilene. They are on the 1910 and 1920 censuses in J.P. 1, Taylor Co.
Their son William Hugh BRIGGS b. 1886 AR, d. 1959 Lubbock Co. TX; married in 1895 Sarah Ann HINDS b. 1887 AL, d. 1869 Lubbock Co. TX. I believe they are buried in Tye but I don't know what cemetery. They are on the 1910 census in J.P. 1, Taylor Co. and the 1930 census in J.P. 5, Taylor Co.
Their son William Carroll BRIGGS was born 1907 in Taylor Co.
Sarah Ann HINDS' father John Joseph HINDS b. 1856 AL, d. 1959 Tye; married in 1879 AL Sarah Carolyn SAULSBERRY b. 1862 MO, d. 1940 Abilene. They are on 1900 census in J.P. 1, Taylor Co. and J.P. 5 in 1920 and 1930.
