I would like to make contact with any descendants of Vollie Johnson who married Lela Freeman in Eastland co. TX. Believe that Vollie died in Abilene, Taylor co. TX in 1963. Children of Vollie and Lela/lena include: Van,b & d. 1915, Ruth, Freeman and Noel, It is possible that Vollie had brother named Jim, sister Elizabeth who married Murphy and possible that his fathers name was James nickname "Buck" Lela was the Daughter of Horace and Mary Westbrook Freeman of crossplains/pioneer area and Lela still has brother living in CrossPlains. I am trying to verify the father of Vollie Johnson and would like to know his descendants. Believe my 4th great grandmother was an Aunt to Vollie. Will share my information with you.
