You don't say if he was the killer or the killed one.
I checked the death index for 1941-1955 NO Sam/Samuel/S.? Wilson died in Taylor County.
If he was the killer it would be at the Courthouse under the 'defendant's name' and would need to be narrowed down more since they are loosely indexed (out of order on most of the older ones - the last time I looked one up).


A - Samuel Walter Wilson died in Nolan Co (Sweetwater area) Dec 4, 1946 - that was the closest in area one I could locate.
